OP-17 Chase Cards: Kaido, Pudding, Newgate, Marco
OP-17 ships 28 August. Six serials people are already searching for, the pre-release prices that exist, and an honest note on the four that have no market yet.
OP-17 has not shipped. Of the six serials people are searching for most, only three have a price attached at all: Kaido OP17-062 at $29.99, and both Kaido OP17-058 and Luffy OP17-079 at $9.99. Newgate OP17-005, Marco OP17-015 and Pudding OP17-109 have no market price yet. Every number here is a pre-order ask, not a settled value, and it will move after 28 August.
The six serials, and what each one actually is
These are the OP-17 cards drawing the most searches right now. Three of them are Leaders or Leader-adjacent, which matters: a Leader's price behaves nothing like a chase card's, because demand comes from people building one deck rather than from collectors chasing a pull.

It does not mean the card is worthless and it does not mean we are hiding a number. It means nothing has traded that we can observe. A site that shows you a price for an unreleased common is showing you a guess. We would rather print the gap.
OP17-079 is the first Super Leader Parallel ever printed
Luffy OP17-079 is a Leader card, and OP-17 debuts Bandai's first parallel treatment on a Leader: the Super Leader Parallel. That is a new rarity type, not a new card, and new rarity types are the thing sets get remembered for long after the individual chase cards settle. The $9.99 quote above is for the ordinary Leader printing. The parallel will not trade anywhere near it.
The same caution applies as on any multi-printing serial: one code, several very different cards. That is not an OP-17 quirk, it is how the game prints its top slots, and it is worth understanding before the set lands.
Five Manga Rares, split five ways
OP-17 puts Manga Rares on Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaido, Big Mom and Charlotte Linlin. Five chase cards in one slot is the highest count Bandai has printed, and it cuts the odds of hitting any specific one to a fifth of an already thin base rate. The honest answer before 28 August
Wait. Japan gets the set on 22 August, six days before English, and that window produces the first real pull data and the first singles prices anyone can trust. Buying an OP-17 single before then means paying a pre-order ask set by a seller with no more information than you have. The OP-17 booster box page and the card pages above update daily, so the cheapest way to be right is to do nothing for a fortnight.
