Roronoa Zoro cards and prices

The second-most-collected character in the game, and the one whose prices most reward knowing which printing you are looking at.

Roronoa Zoro has 81 printings across 24 sets in the One Piece Card Game, covering 35 distinct card numbers. The most valuable is OP09-076 (R) from OP-09, at $5,000. Prices refresh daily (how we source them).

The market is heavily concentrated: OP09-076 alone accounts for 52% of everything we track for Roronoa Zoro. The cheapest way in is OP16-053 at $0.07. Over the last 30 days, 8 of the priced card numbers moved more than 10%2 up and 6 down.

Zoro is the first crew member Luffy recruits and the one with the cleanest goal in the story: be the greatest swordsman in the world, because he promised someone he would. He fights with three swords, one of them held in his teeth. If Luffy is the character people buy, Zoro is the character people collect — the demand is deep, steady, and much less driven by whatever arc is airing.

His market rewards precision more than anyone else's here. Zoro has several serials where an ordinary-rarity printing and a manga-finish printing of the same card number sit orders of magnitude apart, and a listing that just says the card number tells you nothing about which one is being sold. More people have overpaid for a Zoro by not reading the printing than for any other character in this game. Check the finish before the number.

He also has the deepest cheap tail on this page after Luffy, spread across a wide range of sets. That makes him the practical choice if you want a character run that is genuinely long but still finishable — you will get most of the way there for very little, and then the last handful of printings will cost more than everything before them combined.

What I'd actually do

Buy him as a collector, not as a trade. The top Zoro printings are thinly traded and the mid-range moves slowly; this is a character to accumulate rather than to time. The one thing I would actually act on is the spread between finishes on a shared serial — that gap is where the mistakes get made, and it is the only reliable edge on offer here.

Every Roronoa Zoro printing

All 81 of them, most valuable first. Each card links to that exact printing, not just to its card number. 23 of the 35 card numbers exist in more than one printing — a base plus some combination of parallel, alternate art and manga finish — and the market prices those separately. Two listings quoting the same card number can be worth very different amounts, which is the single most common way people overpay. Every card links to its full price history.

Biggest 30-day moves

Card numbers priced at $2 or more, ranked by how far they have moved in the 30 days to 19 September 2026. Cheap cards are excluded: a few cents of movement on a 20-cent card reads as a large percentage and tells you nothing.

Questions about Roronoa Zoro cards

How many Roronoa Zoro cards are there in the One Piece TCG?

Roronoa Zoro has 81 printings across 24 sets, covering 35 distinct card numbers. That count includes base cards, parallels, alternate arts and manga finishes, which are separate printings of the same card number. 35 of those card numbers currently have a recorded market price on Foilr.

What is the most valuable Roronoa Zoro card?

The most valuable Roronoa Zoro printing is OP09-076 (R) from OP-09, at $5,000 as of 19 September 2026. Prices are derived from TCGplayer market data for the English market and update daily.

What is the cheapest Roronoa Zoro card?

The cheapest Roronoa Zoro printing with a recorded price is OP16-053 (C) from OP-16, at $0.07 as of 19 September 2026. Deck legality does not depend on rarity, so the cheapest printing of a card number plays identically to the expensive one.

Which Roronoa Zoro card is the most valuable?

The manga-finish printings sit at the top of his market, well above the standard versions of the same card numbers. Because they share a serial with far cheaper printings, the finish rather than the card number is what determines the price.

Why do Zoro cards with the same number vary so much in price?

Because the card number identifies the card, not the printing. A single Zoro serial can exist as a base rare, an alternate art, a special art and a manga finish, printed at very different rates. Listings that quote only the number are ambiguous, and it is the most common way buyers overpay on this character.

Is Zoro a good character to start collecting?

He has one of the deepest tails of cheap printings in the game across a wide spread of sets, so a run gets started easily and cheaply. The difficulty is at the end rather than the beginning: the last few printings typically cost more than the entire rest of the collection.
